| Remarks & Notes  |
| The D&I rock train heads south from Hawarden with power now on both ends of this 85 car train. At Sioux City the train terminates in a stub yard so the train will be yarded with the power on the rear end. The power came out of Dell Rapids all together so the train can make a couple hills on the way south. From here the railroad pretty much follows the river valley and is flat running. The D&I run rock trains between Dell Rapids, SD, and Sioux City, IA. |
