| CNW 6889 brings an ore train thru Bayview (the Milwaukee, WI area one, not the famous Canadian one), in January of 1990. This seasonal ore train was loaded in the iron ore range of Minnesota and is destined for interchange with the EJ&E in the Chicago area. These trains didn't run every year so they were a welcome change to the usual coal train or regular manifest. This is my old stomping grounds as I grew up only a few blocks east of this location. |
