Backwoods Mallet
Until recently, photos of the Jädraås-Tallås Railway's Mallet facing the morning sun were unobtainable, as it always ran facing west. The repair of the turntable at Tallås has changed that, so that it is now possible to obtain charming views such as this, looking much as it did when the locomotive emerged from the Atlas shops in 1910 for service on this very line. |
