| With three North Little Rock SD40 rebuilds running point the westbound Laramie 'Laser' continues its westbound pull up Wyoming's Sherman Hill at Speer. In this view the Laser is wrapped around the big curve on three track with the steam era water tank standing a quiet guard at left. Also visible are the west and east leg connectors to the Greeley 'main' to Denver. The west leg is in the foreground while the east leg is visible at middle right, the eastbound 'local 60' can be seen holding the east leg, awaiting a signal at 517 to take three track into Cheyenne. |
