Remarks & Notes

CP 5723 sports the image of the future with the more conservative nose striping that began replacing candy cane stripes in 1976. The unit is in the downtown yards below the CP station, which is the building immediately behind the unit. MLW and Baldwin switchers were still handling switching chores at this time.
