| A rare A-B-A set of geeps switch grain elevators in Superior's East End. The heritage of the units is interesting, with 1521 starting life as Great Northern 400C (an FT B later rebuilt into GP9m 905), GP38-2 2249 was built for Frisco as their 460 (before a wreck saw it lose its cab), and GP39-2 2984 was originally GM&O GP35 639 before rebuilding for BN. The GP38-2B is the only cabless one like it on the roster. |
