It's a warm June afternoon as ATSF 646 West prepares to take the diverging route at CA Jct., around the bend from Camden, MO. Three main tracks handle traffic of both BNSF and NS (nee Wabash) between Hardin and CA Jct., MO and the 646 is on the south, or NS track; however, all three tracks are used interchangeably by both carriers. At CA Jct. the roads part ways - the BNSF heading across the Missouri River at Sibley and the NS passing beneath it and remaining on the north side of the river into Kansas City. Fuji Sensia.
