Remarks & Notes |
"Push-Pull at Shawmont"
SEPTA train 2333 with the "all day" 4 car push-pull set passes by the abandoned Shawmont Station on the Norristown Line. The station was opened by the Philadelphia, Germantown and Norristown Railroad in 1834 and was closed by SEPTA in 1996. The station signs, platform and station house still stand today. "All Day Set" refers to a 4 car push pull set that roams the SEPTA Regional Rail system on several revenue and deadhead runs throughout the course of the day. |
