Remarks & Notes

During a severe Spring thunderstorm that brought hail, strong winds, and lots of lightning to the area, 362 crests the Racoon Mountain grade at Whiteside with a increasingly rare all EMD consist. When I pulled up it was raining lightly but as my luck would have it as soon as he got close it started raining buckets with some pea to dime sized hail mixed in. Oh the things we do for a picture of a train!
