| A pair of rebuilt GP16 workhorses are seen at the Mississippi Central Holly Springs yard in North Mississippi. PREX 1604 was built in 1950 as a GP7 for the Charleston and Western Carolina Railway. PREX 1605 was built as a GP9 for the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad in 1957. |
