Looking straight down from the night sky, a lone EMD GP40 guides GEXR train no. 582 along the north end of the Waterloo Spur at Elmira, Ontario. This image was made possible by the train's stately pace, which the drone was able to keep up with.
Pace and pan shots of trains from on the ground or in the air. If you're not in the locomotive cab or on-board the train, it's the next best thing to being there.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
