An unusually hot Labor Day 2018 provided no relief when following Central Maine & Quebec's #211 along their Searsport Branch. Rolling cautiously over Marsh Stream from Winterport into Frankfort, Maine, CEFX 3029 led 2003 and their 42-car train toward the very South end of the Bangor Sub. By this date, water levels were low enough to be crossed without even getting wet. Quite a difference from a month earlier.
