| Amtrak Northeast Regional train 156 slowly winds around the west leg of the wye from NS's Kinney Yard to Montview yard. In the background, the train passes the former Amtrak Lynchburg Woodall road station last used by the Hilltopper in 1979. When this station closed, nobody would have probably guessed that service would be brought back to Roanoke almost 38 years later. |
