CaterParrott RailNet's leased power from Progress Rail struggles in Notch 8 to pull a heavier than usual load from Madison, GA up the small grade in Shady Dale, GA. Seen here is the 2nd and successful attempt to clear the Hwy 142 crossing in the distance where the 1st attempt led to the power stalling out. The pair of SW1500's were the only two motors online due to Progress Rail performing repairs/maintenance to the GP40.
