Santa Fe’s 179 train sprints through Illinois farmland and flies through the town of Toluca on April 22, 1995. Three GE C40-8Ws along with a GE C44-9W pull the intermodal seen in an elevated view from an old coal mine slag dump the locals affectionately call “Jumbo.”
