With both of the Pan Am's heritage GP9s in charge, the SAPPI paper job pulls through Waterville to yard their train. These veteran locomotives soldier on into their 6th decade of service since they were delivered to the Boston & Maine RR in 1956. The last two active GP9s on the roster roll on despite the dead line of newer GP40s and SD40s as the GE invasion continues on this once EMD dominant railroads.
