The still morning of October 2, 2014, reveals fog lifting off a dead calm surface of the Clark Fork as an eastbound BNSF MSPOLAU freight crosses the bridge west of Noxon, Montana. Bracketing a trio of blue Montana Rail Link SD45s is a BNSF C44-9W and a leased Union Pacific C40-8.
