The rising sun has begun to burn off the morning fog in the Winooski Valley as Amtrak's northbound Montrealer makes its 6 AM stop at Montpelier Jct., VT, with the usual pair of E8s up front. The distinctive station was built by the Central Vermont in 1934 and is still in use in 2017.
