BN Lives in 2017!
The BN has been gone 22 years but you'd barely know it with this clean white face classic leading a northbound manifest on BNSF's remarkably scenic and surprisingly busy Bellingham Sub. This was my first time exploring the railroad north of Everett and I was very pleasantly surprised with the scenery and variety and density of traffic on this former Great Northern Route. This train bound for Custer is cruising along through a beautiful little rural northwest Washington town. |
