| Cogwheel railcars Bhe 4/8 # 12 "Mendrisio" and # 14 "San Gallo" of the Monte Generoso Railway on the top station Generoso Vetta. The 9 kilometer long line with Abt rack system has a maximum grade of 22 %. Dominating the top of Monte Generoso is the brand new "Fiore di Pietra" (Stone flower) restaurant, designed by architect Mario Botta. |
