The doorstep of The Inn at Spences Bridge is almost on the Canadian Pacific main line (and literally is on Nicola Highway 8—watch your step…) at this crossroads in the Thompson River Canyon in British Columbia. On July 22, 2011, a CP coal train rumbles eastbound through town.
