Montana Rail Link SD45 No. 351 sprints along the Second Subdivision just east of Livingston, Montana, leading a BNSF manifest freight on September 28, 2014. Even though these flared locomotives are rebuilt (MRL calls them SD45-2s)—in fall of 2014 and the autumn of their service lives—their 20-cylinder EMD 645s still roared behind tonnage.
