| Riders on the opening run of the Cincinnati Dinner Train’s 2017 season were treated to a once in a lifetime opportunity. The extended stay by the Ringling Brothers Circus Train coincided with the Dinner Train’s first run. To commemorate the occasion, the Dinner Train made a brief stop next to the Circus cars in Indiana & Ohio’s Undercliff yard. This allowed passengers the opportunity to take photos from the train and hear about life on the circus train from a former Ringling employee. As the company photographer for the evening, I was given the opportunity to capture this historical moment from the ground. It was the only day this meet ever took place as the Circus would leave Cincinnati for the final time two days later. |
