| "A Ride to Retirement" The top pieces of the New York Pennsylvania Station Departure Board, which includes the notable "Departures" sign, was placed inside the baggage car of Amtrak train 67 to be shipped to Amtrak offices in DC for retirement/preservation. As part of a modernization program, large flat screens were installed throughout New York Pennsylvania Station's Amtrak concourse months before to replace the board. |
