Remarks & Notes 
The freshly painted Vermont Railway 431 departs North Bennington after making it's first trip down the B & R Main from Rutland. The historic former Rutland Railroad station is on the right. The Sunday extra is running light power to North Hoosick where 69 loaded salt cars are waiting for pick up. The 431 is trailed by 4 lease units and the VTR 201.
