“NETT Change” CSX R134 (the former NETT, Northeast Trailer Train, Memphis to Philadelphia), with CS/B&O GP40-2 6243 leading, is eastbound crossing the Patapsco River on the historic Thomas Viaduct on Track 2 of the CSX (former B&O) Washington Subdivision.Although still in Chessie System paint and sporting a B&O reporting mark, 6243 (the former B&O 4344), has received a renumbering into the CSX numbering scheme, as well as the CSX standard black-on-white number boards, unlike her two trailing Chessie sisters. The trailing units are CS/C&O GP40 4071, CS/B&O GP40 3743, and Seaboard System/CSXT U30C 7234. |
