Top Ten of 2016. With the year almost over, here's a look back at my Top 10 favorite shots from 2016. 5. One of my favorite places to visit is the ever-expanding 2-foot empire of the Wiscasset Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum in Maine. In April, the railroad hosted a day-long photo charter with recently restored 0-4-4T 9, which operated on the original WW&F in 1933. With a small photo group and plenty of runby opportunities, the charter allowed one to experiment with creative angles, such as this glimpse through the window of the Alna Center station as 9 approaches with a southbound mixed freight.
