A Gunderson built bulkhead flatcar sits on the West Point siding in the early morning hour looking like it's awaiting unloading of its heavy structural steel beams. In actuality, this car has been set out after being tagged by the XXB 94.1 defect detector for a hot box. With the defective wheel set having already been changed out the day before, this car now sits patiently in the city of West Point. It will have to await pickup by the next northbound train, one that will be going to the same destination as it originally was. |
