Remarks & Notes
MILW 305, a late phase GP9 looks pretty dapper in its original scheme as it waits for its next assignment at Milwaukee Road's Tacoma Tide Flats yard 13 months before the demise of western extension operations. After adopting MILWAUKEE ROAD hood lettering in the sixties, it was kind of refreshing to see some of these older units repainted in the more restrained version of orange and black. Guess it shows my age.
