| KCS 7009 is the lead motor on a scorpion train moving west on "The Gateway" at Rock Creek Jct in Independence. Once the train reaches KC, it will swing south and head for Pittsburg, KS. KCS 7009 is an ex-Conrail SD50 picked up by the KCS in the 2000's. |
