| Forty years ago BN 6928 climbs Stevens Pass with an eastbound intermodal train at the apex of the curve on Foss River bridge. The train begins the 2.2% grade climb from Skykomish by following the Foss river a couple miles, then making a horseshoe over the river on this bridge and continuing up the Skykomish River valley to Scenic and the Cascade Tunnel. |
