| BCOL 4645 East rolls across the ex-Pennsylvania Railroad lift bridge spanning the Calumet River at CP 509 on the Chicago Line. The two abandoned lift bridges on the right once hosted the NYC main line. And up until 1965, there was a fourth lift bridge spanning the Canal where the gap can be seen between there three bridges. There is also a bascule bridge on the far right once belonging to the B&OCT. |
