| The unexpected daytime appearance of B949 on Sunday April 3, 2016 sent railfans scurrying trackside along the lower Hudson Line. With SD40-2s 8836 (ex-Conrail 6460)/8833 (ex-Conrail 6442) leading, we also capture a passing Metro North push-pull train with Bombardier built cab car 6302 trailing just north of High Bridge Yard at the "NY 7" stone marker. The historic High Bridge, built in 1848 and reopened to pedestrians in 2015, is in the background. |
