| High speed rail can only truly be high speed when the number of curves and bends are reduced to a minimum. Straight ahead should be the way to go.
This means that a lot of bridges and tunnels needed to be build for the high speed line Hannover - Frankfurt. 
An ICE railcar has just left a tunnel and crosses a bridge before disappearing into the next tunnel. Road traffic on the adjacent bridge (Motorway A7) was quiet for the time of day... |
