| Racing for South Mojave….marching across the desert towards Mojave for the assault on the eastern slope of the Tehachapi grade, UP's 'class' ET45AH #2570 brings up the rear of the westbound MWCRVC as it passes Fleta on UP's Mojave Subdivision. In the distance BNSF's westbound V KCKRIC is also bent on Tehachapi, leaving Sanborn on former Santa Fe iron. Soon both trains will be 'in line' for the journey over the formidable Tehachapi's. |
