CN SD40s 5122 and 5119 are part of a trio parked at Boston Bar, BC waiting to head west on a unit coal train. The pair are from a group of SD40s equipped with dynamic brakes for coal train service. Many CN SD40s were non-dynamic brake as were a number of their SD40-2Ws. This was due to the relatively light grades encountered crossing their system, particularly in the Canadian Rockies.
