Thirty years ago, early in the morning, a MoPac trio of SD40-2s crosses the Dry Comal Creek, preparing to hammer the diamond with MKT in downtown New Braunfels.
If the wind was blowing the right direction, you could hear the noise of the diamond from our house in the hills, probably 3 miles away on the hills to the southwest.
