FL9 on the Whippany Line
While normally relegated as a "trail only" unit, Maine Eastern 489 led the Westbound Santa Train for one day in December 2011. This was due to the fact that the second ALCO normally on point of the Westbound run was being used on the Toys for Tots train. Such a move had to happen because the standard TFT power, NS 3010 died on the return to Dover the previous evening. |
