In the spring of 1983, the Baltimore and Ohio ran a special train for employees and their families from Baltimore to Point of Rocks, Md., and back. The train ran outbound on the Capital and Metropolitan Subdivisions via Washington to Point of Rocks, then returned to Baltimore over the Old Main Line via Ellicott City, making for a nice triangle trip.
The train is shown coming around the wye at Point of Rocks, entering the Old Main Line, behind B&P "torpedo boat" passenger GP-7 No. 6603.
