A pair of four-axle BNSF locomotives roll in-between the engine pit tracks (Left) and the inbound receiving/runner tracks (Right) as they head south to pick up Chicago bound mixed freight M-GALCHI1 23A waiting for them on the outbound departure tracks. This Geep, along with another, had previously been up in the Quad Cities working the R-CHI428 road switcher before it was tasked with handling freight from Galesburg to Chicago and return with BNSF 538. BNSF 175, an EMD GP60, was originally built for the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway company back in June of 1988 as the ATSF 4016. After the merger with Burlington Northern in September 1995, this unit changed owners as well as numbers, becoming the BNSF 8716 prior to it being renumbered again to the BNSF 175, which is what you see here. The unit still sports the snazzy blue and yellow "Bluebonnet" paint scheme that it received new just over 27 years ago, with the exception of the BNSF patch. The second unit, four-axle Dash 8 BNSF 538, is also ex-ATSF as well.
