Here's one of the more exotic consists I was able to capture during my early days of shooting around Roanoke. NS 147 heads west through Shawsville behind a typical NS leader, followed by CNW 4551 (GP9R) and UP 3695 (SD40-2). I've always wondered how the old C&NW geep found its way to the NS Virginia Division!
