After a quick drop-off west of here at Flagg Center, BNSF's 476 job returns back east through Rochelle on the Aurora Subdivision as it ducks beneath both a CB&Q searchlight signal bridge and its brand new PTC cantilever replacement. This train runs Monday through Friday and works the various industries in town as well as dropping off cars for the Illinois Railnet at Flagg Center, IL. The current power for this job is BNSF GP38-2 #2015, a unit that originally began its life as a Detroit Toledo & Ironton GP40 back in June of 1968. Following beside the tracks is a long row of code-line poles that, along with this searchlight signal bridge, will be gone once PTC takes over here.
