CN 2973 is leading the load-out process at Luscar, Alberta. The train climbs a 2.7-3% grade for four miles out of Cadomin, Alberta. Near the load out the grade levels off to 1-1.3% to help facilitate loading on the steep grade. In the photo you can see the car dropping off towards the 2.7%.... This is the highest point on the CN rail system.
