This afternoon the DP on a southbound BNSF ballast train dumping rock on the big curve at Palmer Lake had an unusual blue sky rainbow accompanying it. After a recent change in Joint Line maintainance from UP to BNSF, they have been doing a lot of track work trying to make up for UP's lack of it.
