Seaboard Air Line No. 8, "The Sunland" is working through the now suburban community of Raleigh, NC known as Millbrook. The consist of No. 8 on this day is typical of the era, heavy on the mail and express but light on the passengers. "The Sunland" was ultimately reduced to a fragment of what is seen in this photo before being discontinued in September 1968.
