| Amtrak's Adirondack en route to New York's Penn Station makes its way southbound along the shore of the Hudson River. The train is crossing one of the many short causeways that characterize the old New York Central Water Level Route which enable trains to maintain a relatively high speed despite the twists and turns of the shore line. |
