| W954 and its 1900 foot long train of empty tie gondolas glide into the curve at the northern area of Opelika. Two versions of the SD50 purchased by two different railroads at the time are represented here. The lead unit was built for the Seaboard System in 1984 and has the standard HTC truck while the trailing unit was built for Conrail in 1983 and rides atop the Flexicoil truck. |
