UP 4755 leads 110 baretables through the control point at Belvidere, NE on a spring evening. Not too many years ago it took all of the dogcatch crews one could rustle up in order to keep this railroad moving when the Marysville Sub was primarily single-track and the Kearney Sub was double track. All of the additional track work greatly enhanced transit times, but then the economy went south.
