| Private Varnish Alexander Hamilton was built as a parlor car by Budd in January of 1952 for the Pennsylvania Railroad is seen here at the tail end of the Montreal-New York Amtrak Adirondack. The historic Marker (First Spike 1836-1936) commemorates this location where Canada's first railroad was begun in 1836, later to become the first international railroad in Canada.
