The first half of a 100-car ethanol train arrives at the Bellows Falls, Vermont, Riverside Yard with Canadian Pacific Railway AC4400CWs - 9808 and 9774 - making the maiden voyage of big CP GEs over the Green Mountain Gateway between Whitehall, New York and Bellows Falls, Vermont. This would mark the first such run-through of CP power on the ethanol trains since their inception. CP, Vermont Rail System, New England Central Railroad and the Providence & Worcester team up for the haul over the Green Mountain Gateway from Canadian Pacific origins to Providence, Rhode Island's Motiva Terminal.
